A parked domain name is one that's taken, but it's not associated with another service - web or e-mail hosting. Basically, such a domain address will not open any actual content in case you type it within a browser, but no one else can take it as you have already registered it and you are its owner. The benefit of obtaining a domain name and parking it afterwards is the fact that you’re able to keep it and not stress that someone else may register it in the meantime if, for example, the website for it is not ready yet. You are able to set a temporary Under Construction website page for a parked domain while you're working on your website, or forward it to another web address - temporarily or permanently. The second option can be used when you have already registered domain.com, for example, and you obtain domain.net and domain.org, so as to protect a brand name or a trademark. In this case, the .net and .org domain addresses can be parked and directed to the .com since you don't need different websites for them.

Parked Domains in Cloud Hosting

You are going to be able to park as many domains as you wish with any of the cloud hosting plans that we offer you. Of course, this feature is provided just for domain names registered with us as the service is always provided only by the registrar. In contrast to many companies, we do not charge anything extra for parking a domain address and the process is going to take only a couple of clicks in your Hepsia CP. We've got a few parking templates to choose from where you can add custom text. If you want to host a parked domain name in the future, adding it to your account requires only a mouse click. Everything needed for your website to start showing up, such as setting up a domain folder and creating DNS records is going to be done automatically by us. Our feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to view a full list of the domains that you have registered through us and you’ll be able to set a filter to view just the parked or only the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

When you get a semi-dedicated server plan through us, you are going to be able to register and park as many domain names as you would like. Different to other providers, we won't charge you an additional fee for this feature. You could park a domain with only a couple of clicks through the Domain Manager tool, that you can access through the Hepsia hosting CP. If you decide to use a template, you are going to have a few different ones to choose from and you'll be able to add custom text to any of them. The feature-rich Domain Manager enables you to set filters and see only the hosted or only the parked domain names within your account. Using the same instrument, you can also un-park a domain and host it within your account with only a mouse click. Our system will change the name servers of the domain and will create its folder in the File Manager section, and the needed DNS records for it, automatically.
